Ralph Michaelis / "Seashellish"

An award winner at the 2006 Hawaii Forest Industry Association (HFIA) wood show, This piece's full title is "Seashellish by Ralph Michaelis". (Michaelis rhymes with Shellish). The seashellishness is derived from the contrast between the layered, organic exterior and the smooth pearl like interior. This piece is the basis for the design theme that I am currently exploring.
