"Kupuna Puna"
I was pleased with the results of several earlier experiments into texturing. "Pua Kupuna" is a good example of a rough texture which gave that piece a warm appearance and interesting touch. Here I wanted to create a smooth, yet still wrinkled texture. It reflects, rather than absorbs the light and still provides an interesting tactile sensation.
