"Foxfire 75"
This bowl is important in the development of my work because was made just after the puka series. It shows my initial explorations into surface relief carving. I wanted the wood to be more of a focus than my peircings. This bowl may have been better smooth but the idea developed into "Lava Dance", "Keahi", and on through to today's seashellish series.
